What is Teamspeak?
Teamspeak is a program that allows you to have large voice conversations with other people using your microphone. It is ideal for clan communication, and is very similar to Ventrilo.

Why are we now using Teamspeak instead of Ventrilo?
Ventrilo used to have better voice quality, but has been overtaken by Teamspeak over the past year or two. It is also much more user friendly, and has less problems with people being unable to connect.

Where can I get Teamspeak?
Ventrilo can be downloaded from http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads
Be sure to download the Client program, not the Server program. Installation is fairly simple.

How do I connect to the Stellarstop Teamspeak Server?
After opening up Teamspeak, go "Connections" -> "Connect"
Type ts36.gameservers.com where it asks you for the 'Hostname or IP'.
Type 9166 where it asks you for the 'Port'.
Everything else can be left as the default settings.

Go to "Bookmarks" -> "Add to bookmarks" to save you from typing everything in next time.

So from what i've seen, Teamspeak is much nicer then Vent.

There's no beeping sound when you start to talk; which is good (despite that sometimes you wonder if your actually talking).

Also; there's a poke feature!

I don't like how Teamspeak goes into my taskbar after minimizing, anyway to change this?

To the right side of your task bar, there are small icons, which store other open programs.
You will also see a teamspeak icon (highlighted red in picture). Right-click that, and press hide. This will minimise the program to that small corner. If you wish to view the actual program again (to change channels or something alike), just right-click on the icon again and press show.
