Chance's Player-Organised Castle Wars eventOn Saturday, Chance decided to hold a Castle Wars event. Most of the people that went were his friends. I went and I have to admit, his friends were petty bad prlayers. It was really easy to grab their standard. And I was using v skirt + dhide top + dds. And I still easily killed a few of their people. StellarCastStellarCast is an awesome podcast made by Kieran, Kate and Dylan (with guest speakers from time to time) that talks about the last Runescape, Jagex and Stellarstop related news. It is the best way to find out news and find out peoples opinions on it. I highly recommend you listen to them.

Ancient EffigiesAncient Effigies are a new thing Jagex released for higher leveled players. Ancient effigies can be found by killing certain monsters and require you to give them “Information”. To give them this you need to have a high level for that skill. After giving it information once, it asks for more, but higher leveled ones. The first time it is 91, then 93, then 95 and lastly 97. You'll receive large exp chunks for each time you feed the effigy some knowledge (15k, 20k, 25k, 30k in order). Also, once you finish it, it will crumble and you will, you receive a skill lamp that gives yet even more exp, in any skill you wish! The assist system CAN be used (on skills that can be assisted).
Fight Knights Wall PaperTo celebrate the Fight Knights tournament, Jagex made a new wallpaper. I looked at the article and decided the wall paper would suck. However, a few days later, I decided to check it out since I need a new wallpaper. I looked at it and it actually looked pretty good. I am currently using it and recommend you check it out sometime on the
Downloads and Wallpapers section of the Runescape Website.
Story – Kate and the very ferocious tooth When FTP3 (Fairy Tale Part 3) came out, Kate went to do it. However, when she reached the tooth part, it attacked her! She tried for half an hour only to be attacked continuously by the tooth. However, she finally decided to be smart and begged (Yes begged) me for help. Eventually I gave in and told her she needed to restore her summoning points. She did this and then she thanked me and gave me pie! THE END.

Interview With DylanThis time, instead of Kieran, it's Dylan turn to do a Q&A! Let’s see the questions and answers…
Q: So your grade 12. Have you gotten a job yet?A:I had one last year till March this year. In which i quit because i was having some personal problems, also that i wanted to study more. I'm looking for a job now, unfortunatly the timing is rather bad when everything seems to be happening "now". But in any case, i'm trying to do what i can (must combat laziness). Trying to get something in the gaming industry (Like game traders/ Replay), otherwise i'll see how "well" I can do in a cofee shop O_O.
Q: What are your current goals (in real life)?A: I'm sure when someone read the game industry thing for a part-time job, they're gonna think similar for my average life. But really, i want to do acting. I need to work out my direct route on how i can go about doing that, however, for university (like college) i'm aiming to do more of a practical course, as those things are for people that will actually work in the industry in the future. I hope i can do well enough.
Q: What do you think about StellarCast?A: I'm really critical about things, specially myself; so I can really only say bad things about how i do (for example, I hate my voice with a passion). But, the podcast itself seems to be doing alright. Last week's podcast (released on Thursday) was the best we've done, both technically and how well we actually presented. That has to do with Kate, as she is really good at moving things along. Again, I don't like how I present things (Told you), so she's a much better suit. That's why I want her to continue hosting. In general, podcasts only have 1 host and regulars/special guests. We work as a team to get everything ready anyway, so hosting isn't "that hard" to do regardless. What else can I say? I just like how things are presented with kate.
Q: Do you think Stellarstop has the potential to grow into a big clan?A: As with anything, there is always potential. For a clan to grow, there needs to be both influence and commitment. If there is no commitment to the task you are setting (running a clan), then it just won't take off. With Stellarstop, we have many committed members, whether they casually play Runescape, or play it hardcore. These committed members help Stellarstop to grow, for without them nothing we would surely fail.
Without people organising events, no one would have fun in the clan and leave. Without people inviting players to us, we wouldn't get any publicity. Without an active forum, we couldn't announce what we do with enough notice. Without people promoting new players with what we do, like in events, we would not grow. Without an active forum, there is nowhere for clan members from other time-zones to communicate or to find out information they may not know. Without that effective communication, everything will start to fall apart. The great thing however, is that Stellarstop has these things. We have the base of them. We need to build on from this. More events, more promotion, more forum uses. As each of these things build, more members will eventfully join. If we continue doing such, they will stay with us.
Of course, there is also Stellar Dawn. The almighty saint we await for, as soon as this is released, there will be a whole other chance for more members and a larger clan. But as it is, that won't happen for a few more months. The thing Stellarstop needs more then ever to continue with it's success it's had so far, is more commitment. You don't have to be an incredibly active player, but posting on the forums when you can, or joining people on teamspeak, or even just logging into the lobby to talk in the clan chat is helpful. Running a clan isn't a single man expedition, if a little bit of effort if put in by everyone, success is the form of 'large clan' adamant.
Q: What are you current Runescape goals?A: Currently i plan on getting 99 farming. I hope to have this done by the end of August at latest. It's not the fastest skill to train, and i just don't have the cash to burn 1mill + for mage tree runs!
My other goals include: 70+ all skills (Last two skills left are: 66 Runecraft, 64 Dungeoneering), 1mill exp all skills (just over level 73)
Finally, i wish to complete the statue of Dahmaroc. It's a 30 week project (1 stone a week, 30 stones in total). But, it trains my skills in the process and gives me more variance in skills.
Q: If you had to marry one, would you choose Kieran or Kate?A: Never liked the idea of marriage, now i see why. Seeing as though i'm hetrosexual and kate is awesome. I'd go with her XD. Kieran is more of that man i lean to when i want a big boy hug. *waits for 'wtf' comments*
