Well it's definitely interesting. First time i've seen a trailer that didn't actually feature the game play in it. Going by the sound effects and the pretty deformed help-voice lady, i'm assuming we're in store for some very dark times in the Stellar Dawn Galaxy.

That ship that appeared during the video looked pretty neat though, i could imagine driving that.

It's awesome. I believe the audio is during a quest or maybe a cutscene. I don't think the visual is what you'll see, I think they're hiding what is going on in the game with the changing graphic. The graphic may be something you see inside your ship on the display.

I agree with Syphzar, it is a Teaser after all.

Perhaps it could be the opening scene of the game, or the Human side anyway?

I've heard speculation that this could be setting the scene for the human tutorial. What do you think?

After looking at some analysis' of it, it could well be a trailer that is completely irrelevant to the game, in terms of game-play; but instead sets the history/theme.

It talks about brain control and the ship (which is BEEPING huge) being under attack and how so many places has also been breeched.
There is also mention about atmosphere. I'm assuming that's related to where the ship would be escaping to; in order to avoid these attacks.
Also on the attack mention; this analysis shows that the attack would be caused by either the Mortiga or Pliigi race. The Mortiga seem to be more of a straight forward smash and bash type of creature, while the Pliigi may use things like "brain control" (i think it's called something similar though).
