Jagex havn't really been 'changing the date' of Mechscape's release, they're just trying to make it as good as possible first.

On the Runescape forums, there is a post recalling all of the thing's Jagex CEO; Mod MMG said. Including some information regarding both Runescape and Mechscape.

well it has been a long time since they did say they would bring it out. must have a lot of things to fix or patch up before they release
